‘T-Cell’은 면역 시스템을 관장하는 세포이다. 인간의 신체에 병원균, 독소 등이 침투하게 되면 체세포는 외부 물질에 의해 감염된다. 이때 ‘T-Cell’은 감염된 체세포를 공격해 제거하는 역할을 한다. 하지만 신체 면역체계 균형이 무너질 경우 ‘T-Cell’은 본래 기능을 잃고 염증을 악화시키는 세포로 형질이 변하게 된다. 인간을 지키기 위해 존재하는 면역세포가 인간을 공격한다는 아이러니함을 모티브로 작업을 진행하였다.
'T-Cell' is the cell that controls the immune system. 'T-Cell' attacks and removes infected cells to protect our body. However, when the body's immune system balance is compromised, the "T-Cell" loses its original function and transforms into a cell that worsens inflammation, rather than its intended role of safeguarding the body.
The motive behind this project lies in the ironic nature of this transformation, where the 'T-cell,' which is typically associated with protecting humans, ends up attacking them instead.
