미디어 설치 작품 <That whales walk at whiles 때때로 고래는 걸어다닌다>는 몇백 년의 시간을 간직한 고찰의 대들보와 레이저 빛의 움직임이 어우러져 물질과 비 물질이 교차하며 고유한 리듬을 만들어낸다. 실시간으로 변화하는 빛의 운동은 한 축으로 고정된 시간성이 사라진 안과 밖의 동시적 시점을 불러내어, 가상과 실재 사이의 틈새를 만들어내며 현재와 과거를 연결하는 새로운 시점을 생성한다. 고목의 시간과 빛이 내뿜는 궤적으로 무한한 감각을 만들어내는 이 작품은 공간 내에서 하나의 살아있는 유기체인 ‘시-공의 경험을 제안한다.
From the media installation work <From time to time, whales walk around>, the old girders from the ancient temple and razor lights make its unique rhythm through the harmonies of materials and non-material. The constant movement of lights produces a new point of view where the past and present meet reality and virtual reality, and the relation between inside/outside is more intimate. The encounter of the past of an old tree and the present of the light broaden audiences' experiences. This project is more than just the sculpture; it is considered a living creature.
